Welcome to HomechoiceWB. This is where you can apply for and bid on social housing. West Berks operates a Choice Based Lettings system, giving you the choice about which properties you’d like to be considered for.

If you are accepted onto the Housing Register, you will have access to bid on properties and track progress. To find out if you’re eligible to join the Housing Register, you will need to complete an application form – just click ‘Register Here’. Make sure you give us as much information as possible, including all the documents we need. For more information about which documents you’ll need to submit, take a look at our FAQs. Assessments are usually completed within 10 working days, and we’ll let you know the outcome.

Adverts run from Thursday at 00:01 (one minute past midnight) to the following Wednesday 23:59 (one minute to midnight). If you’re successful, you’ll be contacted by the Housing Association who own the property. You can find feedback about previous properties we’ve advertised in Property Search – Recent Lets.

To update your application, log in to your account and submit all changes along with supporting documents.
